Sittelle Products for Cable Telephony Industry Now Accompanied by Five-Year Warranty

Sittelle Technologies Inc. has reportedly initiated a five-year hardware warranty for IVI6000 and RPS3001 products from August 1 onwards. The IVI6000 and RPS3001 support the cable telephony industry and the partners that serve it.
The extended warranty will provide a strong assurance to buyers that they're purchasing the most reliable equipment available in the market. In a release, Claude Arpin, engineer, president and CEO of Sittelle Technologies Inc., said the company has been telling customers about the reliability of its products for years – and the new five-year warranty program is further proof of Sittelle’s commitment to products that keep on working year after year.
The IVI6000 Intercom Interface is a tiny, easy-to-install device. It will switch all phones in an apartment to the intercom and back. Tenants will be able to answer an intercom from the nearest phone when they have digital phone service from a cable company. If a tenant is already on the phone, a musical tone will alert them. When the tenant presses the # key, the IVI6000 will put their call on hold, switch to the intercom, allow them to speak to their visitor and then switch back automatically when the Intercom releases the line.
The IVI6000 does not require telephone room access and external power. It has been proven to be reliable with the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of two million hours. When reset, IVI6000 will default to the Intercom/Telco phone service and be ready for remote porting.
The RPS3001is a remote porting switch that enables cable companies to install digital phone service on-demand. An easy-to-install device, RPS3001 will automatically switch all digital phones in the home to the digital phone service when the porting of the phone number is completed. The device does not require any external power and has been proven to be reliable up to two million hours. The reset feature available in RPS3001 enables the technician to fully test the installation. An affordable add-on, the RPS3001 will help to build up and retain the Digital Phone customer base while saving money on installations.
