IneoQuest Debuts New Products for Enhancing Microsoft's Mediaroom Deployments

IneoQuest, a provider of advanced quality and service assurance solutions for digital video, has unveiled new products that will enhance Microsoft’s (News - Alert) Mediaroom deployments.
 
IneoQuest’s (News - Alert) new IQDialogue IPTV Mediaroom Installer Edition allows service providers to verify turn-up and investigate issues in the field and offer complete monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities for Microsoft Mediaroom, from development and lab trials to full scale market deployment. In addition, IneoQuest has also upgraded its IQDialogue IPTV (News - Alert) Mediaroom Advanced Edition for greater analysis and troubleshooting for Mediaroom development, company officials said.
 
The new tool for optimizing Mediaroom deployments and the products for the monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of digital video are designed with the intention to help improve Mediaroom QoS across the entire delivery chain and enable its customers to meet subscriber demands.
 
The company will showcase these new Mediaroom enhancements products at the TelcoTV 2009 where it will also demonstrate IneoQuest’s family of products that address the transport, control and content planes of video delivery networks, including: IQDialogue IPTV Mediaroom Installer Edition; IQDialogue IPTV Mediaroom Advanced Edition; Cricket QAM Plus; cPAR; The iVMS mobile application for Apple’ iPhone (News - Alert) or iPod touch; and digital video test and measurement tools including generation and analysis of thousands of simultaneous video flows at up to 10 Gb rates.
 
IQDialogue IPTV Mediaroom Installer Edition allows service providers to quickly and economically monitor, test and collect data about Microsoft Mediaroom deployments for IPTV, VOD, and multi-room DVR services. And by making use of IneoQuest’s IPTV Mediaroom Advanced Edition’ sophisticated analysis capability service providers can analyze the field data and remediate issues like packet loss, D-Server communication issues, capacity problems, R-UDP (News - Alert) fulfillment efficiency, and status messages. The advanced edition has also been tweaked to offer Microsoft researchers and developers, its partners, and service providers’ central operations staff with significantly advanced analysis and testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting capabilities.
