By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Provider of cabling and connectivity solutions Cables To Go has announced it has more than doubled the number of Cables To Go products being offered by Ingram Micro Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of Ingram Micro (News - Alert).

Thanks to this expanded offering, around 1,000 Cables To Go products are now in stock and ready to ship via Ingram Micro Canada. Company officials said that in order to support the digital signage, SMB and education segments, the greatest increase in product availability is within the A/V and networking categories.

Calling Ingram Micro a “great partner” for Cables To Go, Tim Turner, senior sales director at Cables To Go, said that “we’re pleased to expand our inventory and work together to generate greater demand for Cables To Go technology.”

Turner said that by doubling the available inventory with Ingram Micro Canada, the company is bringing new alternatives to a market that is poised for explosive growth in high-definition audio/video connectivity.

Around 18 months ago, Ingram Micro Canada began distributing Cables To Go products Tim Billing, vice president for vendor management at Ingram Micro Canada, said that the IT distributor’s proven success in selling connectivity solutions that include Cables To Go’s products and attracting new resellers were two of the primary drivers for increasing Cables to Go product inventory.

Billing said that technology categories such as digital signage are also seeing an uptick in demand which bodes well for Cables To Go and its channel partners.

Additionally, to build greater awareness among Ingram Micro’s channel partner community, the companies are engaged in a number of co-operative marketing programs.

Cables To Go is a division of Lastar. The company delivers connectivity products renowned for quality, value and innovation and are backed by commitment to customer service.

Earlier this month, eTailer CableOrganizer.com (News - Alert), a provider of cable, wiring and equipment management products for use in business and at home, announced addition of more than a dozen new high-performance computer, datacomm, cabling and audio/video connectivity solutions from Cables To Go.
