Southern Water Services seeks integrated telecommunications services


Dec 29, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Southern Water Services Ltd, a water and sewerage company in UK, has issued a tender for the procurement of integrated telecommunications services, according to PublicTenders.net.

The successful vendor will be responsible for the design of telephony system including peripheral systems. The deal also includes supply and installation of the telephony hardware and software, network configuration, configuration of core and peripheral systems and interfaces, testing, training, and project management throughout the entire lifecycle.



The company presently has a Cisco Call manager based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution that is approaching end of life. The new telephony system should integrate with the company's existing sub-systems including SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM). The deal is scheduled to start from July 1, 2011. The last date for submitting the bid entries is January 24, 2011.
