Cortina Systems and Oliver Solutions Demonstrate DPOE(TM) Interoperability for 10G-EPON(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/28/14 -- Cortina Systems, Inc. (Cortina®), delivering innovative technologies that link people and networks worldwide, today announced participation with Oliver Solutions, the leading provider of SDN/NFV based management software for access networks, in the first chip-level interoperability of symmetric 10G-EPON devices based on DPoE specifications at CableLabs®. Together with Oliver Solutions' DPoE software stack, the Cortina CS8124 10G-EPON OLT and CS8160 10G-EPON ONU devices successfully demonstrated end-to-end interoperability tests, including: Multiple LLID IPv6 based provisioning Non-secure firmware upgrade Customer VLAN and Service VLAN operations IP HSD "CableLabs is proud to facilitate these interoperability events so companies like Cortina Systems can drive the implementation of this technology into the market.
