Rostelecom Extends Contract With VideoMost® For the Next 5 Years


SPIRIT DSP, the voice and video over IP software engines provider serving more than 1 billion people in 100+ countries, announces today that #1 Russian wired telecom operator Rostelecom extended contract for VideoMost® software videoconferencing server for the next 5 years. Rostelecom offers cloud VideoMost®-based video conferences services for enterprise users under its own brand and billing.

Rostelecom serves 100 Mln subscribers and owns 500 000 km length of backbone optical network. It is also an international carrier for 716 mobile networks in 21 countries. Rostelecom generated $4,7 Bln sales in 2015. Rostelecom has become a SPIRIT licensee back in 2013 when Rostelecom has launched SaaS (News - Alert) videoconferencing service to enterprises. New revenue sharing contract between 2 companies is the next step in SPIRIT and Rostelecom partnership.
